You start the process at GroCurv by posting project details online. You can specify project type, duration, budget, location (and whether the project can be completed remotely) and then a description that provides sufficient information for our partners to submit their proposal. When you’re happy with this, we do a provisional check by contacting you and confirming the scope of the project. Then we start the matching process. An expert may not be needed for all projects. The GroCurv algorithm and the client servicing team, in consultation with you will determine the need to make a connect with the expert or directly with the service provider, as the case may be.
We use cutting edge algorithms which take your project description questionnaire and match it with our partners (experts or service providers). If we believe that you would be well served by speaking to a partner, the best partners that match your requirement, are brought to your consideration. You may choose one basis the profiles shared with you for a more detailed conversation.
Most of our clients run the process entirely through our platform, making use of the schedule a call functionality to sort out any questions on proposals or experience. Some will do skype/in person interviews. Many clients are happy for partners to work remotely as well. Our aim is to get the right partner for you and how you finalise the selection is up to you.
When you have decided on your preferred partner, you issue an agreement from your account. The partner is notified, reviews the agreement and accept: When the project agreement is finalised, your project starts. We also automatically inform unsuccessful partners so you really can concentrate on the detail of your project, not the management of the process.
This really depends on the complexity of the request. Our aim is to have the first suitable partners with you within 72 hours.
We can invoice you for the total project cost. When we have received payment, we will pay the partner. This makes it much easier for you to manage multiple freelancers. You may also decide to have a direct contract with the partner.

GroCurv has been created to help high quality Service Providers build their business. We bring new client projects to your attention so that you always have a pipeline of new business opportunities. We also offer support through the process of making proposals. We remain a valuable link between you and the client in the execution of the project and receipt of fees.
GroCurv is powered by the quality of its Service Providers pool. We are providing a service to companies who want instant expertise and experience; this means we have a rigorous vetting process. Our algorithm matches inbound client queries with the skill sets and experience of our Service Provider pool. When a best fit is found, the client query is shared with the Service Provider shortlisted. The Service Provider profiles are shared with the clients. Where there is mutual interest between the client and the Service Provider to engage, we make a telephonic connection to kick off the engagement. From there on it is upto the Service Provider to convince the client that he can best solve their problem.
The GroCurv process is driven by our best match algorithms. These use the information in your profile to determine a score for each project and those with top scores are immediately notified when a project is suitable for them. This is why we encourage you to both complete your profile and keep it up to date.
Some projects, particularly things like market assessment and due diligence projects, can be carried out remotely whereas others need some time on-site, through to projects where the entire project is carried out at the client premises. This is specified in the project details: if you are unable to commit to working on site if it is requested, then it is advisable not to submit a proposal.
Many clients will also want to speak with you to understand more about your proposal. If after this your proposal is accepted, a contract will be shared between the client and the Service Provider. In some cases, the client may want to contract GroCurv to take responsibility for the execution of the project. Here GroCurv will create a contract with the client and then a second contract with the Service Provider to ensure the project is delivered as per the proposal.
You invoice GroCurv if your contract is with GroCurv. You invoice the client if the contract is directly with the client. The payment terms are clearly specified in the contracts.
You will always be notified about the results of your proposal. During the review stage, clients can message you to ask you to elaborate on your proposal and background. We actively encourage clients to give feedback and many will provide detailed feedback to the Service Providers they've shortlisted and when possible we ask them to provide reasons for rejecting or accepting earlier stage proposals, although this isn't always possible. Our delivery team handles a large volume of proposals daily and while they try to provide useful tips to help you, they may not be able to answer specific questions.
Will GroCurv help clarify the brief? Too often the project brief changes along the way and we get penalized.
GroCurv is with the project till its completion participating in periodic calls to monitor the progress. Any change in scope is documented only after all the involved parties agree. We believe our Service Providers and clients both understand the need for quick and efficient execution is hindered by changes to the brief post commencement.
A change in scope is possible as the need of the client may indeed change. We will work with the client and partner to ensure that neither party feels unfairly treated. Feedback on clients and Service Providers is an important way to keep the platform truly engaging and we believe all parties engaged on GroCurv will keep in mind ‘fairness’ to the other in all transactions.
GroCurv encourages the Service Providers and clients to come to the most efficient and effective engagement, which is mutually acceptable to both parties. In case a retainer or long term association is not possible, we encourage the Service Providers to state this upfront to the client before a proposal is shared.
If the Service Providers has an arrangement with GroCurv for the solution being provided to the client, GroCurv will take all responsibility for payment with the understanding that the project deliverables are as per the contracted agreement. In case the Service Providers has an agreement directly with the client, GroCurv will do its best to ensure payments are made on time, but cannot take responsibility on behalf of the client. Feedback on clients and Service Providers is an important way to keep the platform truly engaging, relevant and useful and we believe all parties engaged on GroCurv will keep in mind ‘fairness’ to the other in all transactions.
GroCurv's function as a business development engine for the Service Providers is delivered as soon as the client and Service Providers sign a contract to begin services. We encourage all partners to build in a 25% advance on the project as a start point. GroCurv’s payment from the Service Providers is due as soon as the contract between Service Providers and client is closed.
Any payment made to GroCurv will be reimbursed proportionately, in case of any cancellation of the contract. If the Service Providers has an arrangement with GroCurv for the solution being provided to the client, GroCurv will take all responsibility for payment with the understanding that the project deliverables are as per the contracted agreement upto the point of cancellation. In case the Service Providers has an agreement directly with the client, GroCurv will do its best to ensure payments are made on time.
GroCurv’s promise to its eco-system is to have the best talent and resources available to clients. The match between the client need and Service Providers is based on several factors which include experience in similar domains, similar product lines , location and geography of operations. In addition, feedback from clients will play a very important role going forward. We believe that Service Providers will be able to create demand for their services on the platform as long as they are able to differentiate themselves.
GroCurv, through the duration of the project will remain engaged with the client and the Service Providers to ensure that the deliverables are getting executed as per the contract. GroCurv will participate where there is a change in scope. On closure of the project, GroCurv will collect feedback and facilitate payments to the Service Providers.
