The Power of Focus for Young Brands

For a young brand, less is always more. I know we have said this before and certain we will continue to stand by this in the future. We have learnt this from our own mistakes and we have learnt this from the success of other young brands.

A young brand starting out with limited resources needs to tell one strong story to the interested customer segment. If the customer experience is positive the story is validated and connect with the brand begins.

Over the past few weeks, through multiple webinars and conversations with prospective clients we have been creating a template for brands who want to move from Offline to Online.

There are concerns about budgets, which mediums to use, what to do as a first step - a lot of anxious questions from founders and CEOs with small teams, looking to find some answers and fixes to building their brands online.

We think, the journey can be categorised in a few key directions.

Does the name Aajkiitem ring a bell? Does Beardo? Both are e-commerce start-ups started by a couple of young entrepreneurs from Ahmedabad – a small town in India. The former started with the primary aim of providing the best lifestyle products at affordable prices while the latter is a Brand that evolved from an accidental discovery in the journey of the former.
